I went to Teluk Bayan Hawker Center the other day. There are a few stalls outside the hawker center. One of them is the newly open stall, Taiwanese Crispy Fried Chicken by Mommy Wang. I saw this stall many times when I last visited the hawker center, but I never try.
That day after my dinner inside the hawker center, I decided to buy the Taiwanese Crispy Fried Chicken to try out. There are a lot of people waiting in front of the stall. I don’t have the chance to take good photo.
After a while, all the people got their food and left. Actually, I ordered before 1 or 2 customers, but they got their food first instead of me. Never mind, since I was not in a rush. Furthermore, I have the chance to take a nicer photo of the stall. It’s worth to wait after all. π
There are 5 types of food: Taiwanese Crispy Fried Chicken ε°ζΉΎι¦ιΈ‘ζ, Lemon Grass Chicken ζ ζͺ¬ι¦θ θ Ώζ, Sweet Plum Potato ηζ’ ε°η, Golden Triangle δΈθ§ιͺ¨ and Deep Fried Cuttlefish θηΈι±Ώι±Ό.
There are also 3 sets for you to order to save some money.
Set A: Taiwanese Fried Chicken + Sweet Plum Potato; RM7 (original price RM7.80)
Set B: Lemon Grass Chicken + Sweet Plum Potato; RM6 (original price RM6.80)
Set C: Deep Fried Cuttlefish + Sweet Plum Potato; RM6 (original price RM6.80)
I took away 1 Set A.
The Taiwanese Crispy Fried Chicken was really crispy. Before they pack for customer, the chicken will be put into the wok to deep fry again. After that, the chicken will cut into pieces and sprinkle the spices on top. One feedback, this Taiwanese Fried Chicken is not using the boneless chicken. If it is boneless, it will be perfect.
I am not sure this Taiwanese Fried Chicken is the same as the XXL Chicken from Shihlin Taiwan Street Snacks or not. According to my cousin, the Shihlin XXL Chicken was served in a very large portion and the boneless chicken breast is tender to be eaten. I will try it next time.
Set A comes with the Sweet Plum Potato. The sweet potato is really sweet in taste. It is almost the same as the fried sweet potato that we can get it from the fried banana stall along the road side. The difference is, the Sweet Plum Potato is sprinkle with the plum powder. It makes the potato taste a bit sour, mix with the sweetness.
I prefer the Sweet plum Potato to be eaten without the plum powder. Maybe they can add in spicy spices instead of the plum powder. It’s only my personal preferences.
Mommy Wang Taiwanese Crispy Fried Chicken is located at Teluk Bayan Hawker Center in Sungai Nibong. Teluk Bayan Hawker Center is just beside the Shell Petrol Station and near the Penang largest roundabout.

The HQ is so near my office and yet I have not tried them out. What a joke! They have outlets all over now. There’s even one in Red Garden in town. In fact, this concept of deep frying those food has been going on for years. One example is the Gurney Drive Food Court stall. They sell all sorts of meat, balls, fries, etc.
By the way, you did mention that the chicken has bones? They should have done it like Uncle Bob (the red van that frequents all the pasar malam)

While reviewing educational inspiration websites, I came across a site that feels simple and user friendly, and Build Tomorrow ideas hub offers a smooth browsing experience overall β The design is modern, content is engaging, and users can explore future-oriented concepts without confusion or unnecessary visual complexity.
Found this through a friend who recommended it and now I see why, and a look at happyfindshub only strengthened that recommendation in my own mind, word of mouth still works for content that actually delivers and this site is clearly earning recommendations the old fashioned way through quality rather than marketing.
Comfortable read, finished it without realising how much time had passed, and a look at urbanharborcollective pulled me into more pages the same way, the absence of friction in good content lets time disappear and that is one of the highest compliments I can pay any piece of writing I find online during a regular search session.
Looking for similar voices elsewhere has come up empty in my recent searches, and a stop at quickseasidecommercehub extended the search frustration, the rare site that does what no other does in quite the same way is precious and this one has clearly developed a particular approach that I have not been able to find duplicates of.
Reading this prompted me to dig out an old reference book related to the topic, and a stop at rankvertex extended that connection to other sources, content that connects me back to my own existing knowledge rather than asking me to forget it is content with continuity and this site has that continuous quality.
A memorable post for me on a topic I had thought I was tired of, and a look at velvetorchidmarket suggested the same site can refresh other tired topics, sites that can revive my interest in subjects I had written off as exhausted are doing rare work and this one is clearly doing that for me today.
Solid stuff, the kind of post that I will probably refer back to later this month when the topic comes up again, and a look at wavevendoremporium only confirmed I should bookmark the site as a whole rather than just this single page for future reference and use across coming weeks.
My reading list is short and selective and this site is now on it, and a stop at startfreshnow confirmed the placement, the short list of sites I read deliberately rather than encounter accidentally is something I curate carefully and adding to it is a real act of trust which this site has earned today.
Now recognising that this site has earned a place in the small group of resources I treat as authoritative, and a stop at brightleafemporium confirmed that placement, the difference between resources I trust and resources I just consume is real and this site has clearly moved into the trusted category through consistent quality over time.
Reading this prompted a small redirection in something I was working on, and a stop at morningrustgoods extended that redirecting influence, content that affects my actual work rather than just my thinking has the highest practical impact and this site is providing that level of influence for me at a sustainable rate apparently.
Reading this gave me material for a conversation I needed to have anyway, and a stop at coastlinecrafted added even more talking points, content that connects to upcoming social or professional needs rather than just being interesting in the abstract is the kind that earns priority placement in my attention these days routinely.
Genuinely useful read, the points are practical and easy to apply right away, and a quick look at wildcrestemporium confirmed that this site is consistent in that approach, looking forward to digging through the rest of it when I get the chance to sit down properly later in the week or this weekend.
Came away with a slightly better mental model of the topic than I started with, and a stop at cosmohorizon sharpened that further, content that improves the reader thinking apparatus rather than just dumping facts into it is the rare kind I genuinely value and seek out when I have time to read carefully.
I appreciate the clarity here, everything is explained in simple terms without unnecessary detail, and after a quick stop at firminlet the points came together nicely for me, the writing keeps things straightforward and respects the reader from start to finish without ever talking down to anyone.
Top notch writing, every paragraph carries weight and nothing feels like filler, and a stop at discoverandshopnow reflected that same care, a rare thing on the open web these days where most pages exist for clicks rather than actual reader value or anything close to that which is honestly a real shame.
Looking back on this reading session it stands as one of the better ones recently, and a look at lagoonmill extended that ranking, the informal ranking of reading sessions against each other is something I do mentally and this session ranks high largely because of this site and a couple of related pages here.
Different in a good way from the cookie cutter content that fills most blogs covering this area, and a stop at starlightforest kept showing me why, original thoughtful writing exists if you know where to look and this site has earned a place on my short list of those rare exceptions worth defending.
Skipped breakfast still reading this and finished hungry but satisfied, and a stop at uniquetrendcollection kept me past breakfast time, content that displaces basic biological needs is content with serious attentional pull and the writers here are clearly capable of producing that level of engagement which is genuinely impressive these days.
A small thing but the line spacing and font choices made reading this physically pleasant, and a look at dailybuycorner maintained the same careful design, technical choices about typography are part of what makes online reading actually comfortable and this site has clearly invested in the design layer alongside the content layer carefully.
Reading this slowly because the writing rewards a slower pace, and a stop at softblossomstudio did the same, the pace at which I read content is something I now use as a quality signal and writing that earns a slower pace earns my attention as a reader looking for substance these days.
